“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.”-Nido Qubein
Where you are now is not who you are. We cannot allow our present circumstance, status or location to determine who we are or what we are capable of doing, going or becoming. Whether you live in the hood or suburb, a mansion or an apartment, a nine to unemployed, underemployed or overworked, you’re more than where you live or what you do.
No matter what family we’re born into or what our current socioeconomic status, our future isn’t dependent on either. Our future lies in the hands of a loving God with an unstoppable plan for our tomorrows. We just need to continue to hope in His unlimited power and unconditional love for us.
Let’s focus on our endless possibilities and abilities. Let’s not allow the limitations placed on us by our ethnicity, gender, community or education dictate our possibilities. Remember: you are more than where you are.
