“Once a person says, This is who I really am, what I am all about, what I was really meant to do, it is easier to decide how to spend one’s time.” David Viscott
How we spend our time should be our daily focus. We should make the most of our time and not waste it worrying and putting out fires (unless you’re a firefighter.) Don’t wast time worry about the past, what others think of you or what you did wrong yesterday or will do wrong tomorrow. Make the most of the moment you have now.
Plan your day with purpose and precision. No matter what you do for work, don’t dread your job. See it as part of your process to get you to your destiny. Work with excellence and gratitude. Someone somewhere wishes she had a job. Do your work with pride and integrity, but make time everyday to work on your dream, your passion, your purpose.
Take time everyday to give God thanks, not just one day in November. Hard work and effort mean nothing without direction; so make sure you spend your time going in the direction of your purpose. Make sure every decision, every choice leads you in the direction of your goals and not away from them.
